Free 3D living room planner with real dimensions and AI design
Online living-room project on your own, free: sofa and TV zone laid out by the diagonal rule, AI design from your plan or a photo of an existing living room. Built in the browser in 15 minutes — works equally for a modern apartment living room and a Khrushchev-era hall.
Everything for a living-room project in one editor — from the dimensioned drawing to a photorealistic render. From empty screen to finished render — 15 minutes.
Unique
Make a living room design with AI — from plan or from photo
Online living-room design: render from your plan or upload a photo of an existing living room — the AI repaints in a new style. Scandinavian loft, warm minimalism, classic — swap with one click.
Living room or hall plan with real dimensions
Rectangular — by length and width; walk-through (typical of Khrushchev-era flats) — with two doors to adjacent rooms; complex — by clicking corners. The planner computes area and hints at aisles. All in centimetres.
Placement: sofa + TV by the diagonal rule, AI placement
Sofa to TV at 1.5–2 screen diagonals — the base living-room rule. Drag by hand or hit AI placement: the AI picks composition with focal point, zones and behind-sofa aisles.
Living room in 3D — walk through before renovation
One click and the plan becomes 3D. Check if the armchair blocks the passage between living room and kitchen, judge the actual TV size on the wall. Like a game, but of your future living room.
Try a sofa from a store in your living room before ordering
Spotted a sofa in a showroom or on a store's site? Photograph it — the AI builds a 3D model with real dimensions and places it in your living room. See if a three-seater takes up the whole aisle before you pay for delivery.
Extraction in 30 seconds from corner points — exact dimensions
3D model in your library — drag around the living room
'Fits with aisle or hits the armchair' — before you pay for delivery
From empty screen to finished design — 15 minutes. Signup only to save the project.
01
Set dimensions and doors
Enter length and width or pick a template (apartment living room, walk-through hall in a Khrushchev flat, kitchen-living, living-bedroom). Drag doors onto walls — swing sectors appear automatically.
02
Place the sofa and TV
The TV wall is picked first (the longest solid or the one with outlets). The sofa — 1.5–2 screen diagonals away. Then a coffee table 40–45 cm from the sofa, an armchair at an angle, a floor lamp in the dark corner. AI placement suggests a variant.
03
3D + AI design
Switch to 3D and walk through. Hit 'generate design' — the AI creates a photorealistic render in the chosen style. Save the PDF plan for the measurer and a PNG render for family.

Living room layout for any type
Templates for typical living-room types — from an isolated 17–20 m² in an apartment to a walk-through Khrushchev hall. Open the one you need, tune to your dimensions.
Apartment living room 17–20 m²
Isolated living room with one door. Sofa on the long wall, TV opposite at 1.5–2 diagonals, coffee table, armchair at an angle, shelving in a free corner. Classic apartment living-room layout.
Open plan with zoning. Sofa with its back to the kitchen (natural boundary), dining group between zones, kitchen island with bar stools. No walls, only visual division.
Walk-through living room 15–18 m² with doors to kitchen and bedroom. Furniture only along walls, no armchairs in the path. Sofa across the aisle axis, TV on the short wall opposite.
Convertible sofa instead of a bed, TV on a bracket (doesn't block shelves), desk under the window. Living room for four by day, sleeping place for two at night. Euro-book or accordion mechanism.
The fireplace becomes a second focal point besides the TV. Two options: sofa perpendicular to both (diagonal placement) or TV above the fireplace on one wall. Armchairs — in the corners from the fireplace.
One room, two zones: living by the window with sofa and TV, dining by the wall with an extendable table for 4–6. A rug divides the zones without a partition. Works in two-room flats without a separate dining kitchen.
How to arrange furniture in a living room or hall: 5 rules
The rules work identically for a modern apartment living room, a Khrushchev-era hall, or a kitchen-living. Same 5 rules for how to arrange furniture in a hall.
0101
Sofa to TV — 1.5–2 screen diagonals. For 55 inches (140 cm) that's 210–280 cm; for 65 inches (165 cm) — 250–330 cm. Closer — eye strain; further — can't read details. Screen at seated eye level (typically 100–110 cm from floor to centre).
0202
Focal point — TV, window or fireplace. Everything else lines up around it. In a living room with a fireplace, there are two focal points; the sofa sits between them at 45°. Without a clear focal point the room feels like a furniture warehouse.
0303
Not everything to the walls — an armchair and side table hold the centre. Sofa and shelving along walls; coffee table and single armchair in the free zone. A 'floating' central composition keeps the room alive, not museum-like.
0404
Behind-sofa aisle 70 cm minimum, main aisle 90 cm. You can't put the sofa's back against a passage (too tight), so back to the window or short wall. The main through-living aisle is 90 cm so two can pass.
0505
In a kitchen-living, sofa's back to the kitchen — a zone boundary. Natural partition without walls. On the kitchen side — a bar counter or narrow console. Rugs under sofa and dining group — visual division.

Which other room are you planning?
Each room has its rules. The kitchen-living is a joint project; the bedroom is nearby (in a one-room flat, in the same space). The universal room template covers walk-through halls.
Regular online planners treat a living room like any other room. We treat the sofa, TV and focal point as the composition anchors.
Difference № 101
AI placement with the diagonal rule
Details. The AI knows: sofa to TV at 1.5–2 diagonals, focal point first, aisles 70–90 cm. Lays out by these rules with one button — tweak by hand for your favourite armchair.
Difference № 202
Living room design from a photo — not only from a plan
Details. Upload a photo of an existing living room — the AI repaints in a new style. Proportions, windows, ceilings preserved. For a rental or finished renovation — the only way to see 'how it would be with different wallpaper'.
Difference № 303
Your own furniture from a photo — 3D model in 30 seconds
Details. Spotted a sofa in a showroom or online — photograph it. The AI builds a 3D model, places it in your living room, shows if a three-seater fits with aisles. Before payment, not after.
Difference № 404
Works for a walk-through Khrushchev hall
Details. Accounts for two doors to adjacent rooms — won't let you place furniture on the aisle path. Regular planners don't think about walk-through rooms: for them, a room is a box with one door.
Difference № 505
Part of a full apartment planner
Details. The living room is one of the templates inside the full apartment planner. Built a living-room project — want to open the kitchen or bedroom template next? Do it in the same account without starting over. One furniture library, one style list, one login.

«16 m² Khrushchev hall — three doors and everything is tight. Couldn't arrange it, AI placement worked: sofa cross-ways, TV on the short wall, coffee table. The aisle survived, nobody trips over the legs.»

«I use it for clients at the draft concept stage for the living room. In an hour I show a render instead of a mood board — we agree on style right away, not after three iterations. Photo-based design is a lifesaver for rentals.»

«24 m² kitchen-living in a new build. Built it with my wife in an evening, the AI arranged by the diagonal rule — sofa back to the kitchen, TV on the opposite wall. Accounting for the real IKEA sofa (from a photo). It works.»

«One-room 33 m², living-bedroom. The planner suggested a euro-book sofa along the long wall — living room for four by day, sleeping place 140 at night. Showed my wife in 3D — agreed in 10 minutes.»

Living room planning FAQ
Eight specific questions people ask most often about an online living-room and hall project.
Set the living-room dimensions — the planner draws a contour. Drag doors onto walls. Then the TV wall, sofa at 1.5–2 diagonals, coffee table, armchair. AI placement suggests a working variant. Plan, 3D and PDF export are free; signup only to save.
The Khrushchev hall is usually walk-through with two doors (to the kitchen and bedroom). Start with the aisle trajectory — it must stay clear of furniture. Sofa across the aisle axis along the long wall, TV on the short wall opposite. No armchairs or side tables in the path. Aisle at least 80 cm.
Living-bedroom in a one-room flat: a convertible sofa (euro-book or accordion) instead of a bed, TV on a bracket on the opposite wall, minimum storage. Living room for four by day, sleeping place 140×195 at night. No dining tables, coffee table only.
Main techniques: sofa back to the kitchen (natural boundary), a bar counter or peninsula, rugs under the sofa and dining group (visual division), a ceiling beam or different lighting over the zones. Different floor materials (tile/parquet) — harder but works. Without physical walls.
Yes, free. The PDF contains the living-room contour with dimensions in centimetres, door and window positions, furniture placement with labels (sofa, armchair, TV, side tables). Works as a brief for the crew on outlets and the assembler.
Upload a photo of an existing living room — the AI repaints it in the chosen style (Scandinavian, loft, minimalism, classic). Proportions, windows, ceilings and furniture positions are preserved as on the photo. One render — 30 seconds, from 39 ₽. Relevant for a rental or finished renovation.
Two ways: render from your living-room plan (build the plan and placement first, then 'generate design' + style pick), or design from a photo of an existing living room. Pick Scandinavian, loft, warm minimalism, classic or Provence — walls, floor, lighting and furniture in a unified style.
Build a living-room project in 15 minutes — free
Draft the plan, place the sofa to the TV by the diagonal rule, view in 3D. A mistake on screen is free — moving outlets under the TV after renovation costs time and money.
