How the frame and sheet title block work

Whereon every sheet of every album: drawingsfinishingelectricalwater and heating

What is on the sheet

  • A frame per GOST R 21.101-2026: a 20 mm binding margin (on the left for A3, at the top for landscape A4), and 5 mm for the other margins.
  • The title block, 185 × 55 mm (Form 3), sits in the bottom right corner: a revision table, signature rows Drawn … Checked, code, site, project, sheet name, Stage, Sheet, Sheets, organisation.
  • The binding margin has the fields Orig. inv. no., Sign. and date, Repl. inv. no.. They are filled in when the set is handed over to the archive; the editor leaves them empty.
  • The plan and tables sit above the title block, and the legend runs as a column on the left down to the bottom of the frame. On A4 there is less room for the plan than before the title block was added, so plans more often come out at a smaller scale. A3 is more convenient for albums.

Where each field comes from

FieldWhat it holds
Code (1)Project code from the Album and the set mark, joined by a hyphen: АР, АИ, ЭМ, ВК, ОВ. Without a project code, only the mark is shown
Site (2)Site address from the Album
Building (3)Project name
Sheet name (4)Same as in the sheet heading; below it the floor and scale
Stage (6)W: working documentation
Sheet, Sheets (7, 8)The sheet number in the album; Sheets only on the first sheet, as the standard requires
Organisation (9)Organisation from the Album
Drawn (11, 13)Drawn by from the Album and the date the album was built

How to fill it in

  1. Open Drawings → Album.
  2. On the right, in the Sheet title block section, enter the site address, who drew it, the organisation and the project code. The field is saved in the project on Enter or when you move to another field.
  3. Build any album, and the fields will be filled in on all of its sheets.

Simple style by default

  • In the Album, in Export and in the elevations preview there is Sheet style: Simple for yourself and for the customer (default); GOST with the frame and title block as above, for handing over to builders.
  • A simple sheet: a thin frame without a binding margin, the sheet name at the top with the floor and scale to the right of it, and one line at the bottom: the code and project on the left, the address in the middle, the author and Sheet N of M on the right. The fields are taken from the same fields of the Sheet title block.
  • On a simple sheet the plan is stretched to the whole area to the right of the legend if the plan scale is auto. If a scale is chosen (1:50, 1:100…), the plan uses it.
  • A simple sheet is in colour: sockets, switches, lights and outlets are in their purpose colour, as on the screen, and in the legend in the same colour. A GOST sheet is black (GOST R 21.101-2026, cl. 5.1.4).
  • The style is shared by all albums and is remembered in the browser together with the format and scale.

Good to know

  • An empty field leaves the corresponding block empty.
  • By the standard, an A4 drawing is laid out as a portrait sheet; the editor's albums are landscape, which is a deviation from GOST.
