How to build a wall
WherePlan tableft panel
Steps
- Click and choose a tile:
centre line,
left of the line,
right of the line,
as a room,
partition, glazing or
balcony. The Wall settings window appears on the right: the thickness and material of the future wall. - Move the cursor over the plan. A square with a side equal to the wall thickness moves in place of the cursor. This is the first section of the future wall.
- Click. The square stays in place, and a wall with its size stretches from it to the cursor.
- Click a second time where the wall should end. Or type the length with digits (the field is already in focus) and press Enter.

Good to know
- The entered length equals the visible length of the wall; at a corner, it is the inner side. A wall cannot be shorter than its thickness.
- The
left of the line and
right of the line tiles decide on which side of the cursor line the body of the wall will lie. - Room builds a rectangle of four walls: the first click sets a corner, the second sets the opposite one. This mode has no length field.
- The thickness and material from the Wall settings window also apply when building in 3D: a wall in 3D is the same as the one drawn on the plan.
