How to move or rotate a selection by an exact amount

Steps

Select walls, items, stairs or labels.
In the X or Y field of Shift, enter how far to move and press Enter. A negative number moves left or up. The field will show zero again: you can enter the same number once more.
To rotate, enter the angle in the Rotation field and press Enter, or click the 90° arrow.

Good to know

Rotation goes around the center of the selection, a positive angle is clockwise. Items and stairs rotate, labels stay horizontal.
Pinned walls and items stay in place. Outside the Plan tab, walls and stairs do not move.
Walls connected to the selection but not selected are not pulled along: the connections with them are broken. Move a room together with all its walls.
