How to set up ventilation
WhereWater and heating
Steps
- Place vent shafts in the kitchen and bathrooms if they are not on the plan yet: the row or Plan. It is the same item. The shaft itself does not know the airflow: the exhaust is calculated by the grille on it.
- In the Grilles and inlets step click Place: exhaust grilles will be placed on the vent shafts of the kitchen, bathroom and toilet, and a supply inlet by the window of each living room. The airflow follows the standard.
- For mechanical ventilation, place a unit with a heat recovery ventilator or an in-line duct fan and click Build in the Ducts step: the ducts will run from the grilles to the unit or to the vent shaft.
- Choose the cross-section in the tool window while you are drawing the route, or later in the duct window. Diameter: round Ø100…Ø500, rectangular 150×100…400×400 or calculated, Ø125 by default. The strip on the plan is immediately the right width.
What is important to know
- Standards: kitchen exhaust 60 m³/h, with a gas stove 100; bathroom 50; toilet 25 (SP 54, Table 7.1). Supply 30 m³/h per person or 3 m³/h per m² of living area, not less than 0.35 of the apartment volume per hour and not less than the exhaust (SP 60, Table В.1).
- Air speed in a duct up to 2.5 m/s (SP 60, Table Л.1).
- On the plan a duct is drawn with two lines at the width of the cross-section, with turns as a rounded elbow (GOST 21.602, cl. 6.1.8).
