Finishes: floors, walls, ceilings, skirting boards, screed, plaster, insulation
The Finishes tab applies finishes in layers, the same way they are done on site: screed, waterproofing, floor covering; plaster and wall finishes in sections by height; reveals; a ceiling with a drop and a box; skirting boards. From this the editor automatically: - builds the room finish schedule and the floor explication according to GOST 21.501, and the finishing materials schedule by color numbers (GOST 21.507); - lays out tiles and boards and counts the pieces; - calculates materials with an allowance based on manufacturers' data sheets; - checks the finishes against the norms. Everything goes into the estimate, the developed views and the album. General rules of the tab: - Furniture is dimmed in the tab, and underfloor heating is visible as an underlay: the covering can be read beneath them. - The plan shows the layer of the open button: shows coverings and floor type numbers, shows wall finishes, shows ceilings and levels, and so on. With no button open, floors are visible. - Finish sections (zones) are visible only in the Finishes tab. On their own button they are shown in full: in the material color, with a layout or hatching and the floor type number. A screed, waterproofing or thermal insulation section is shown on with a dashed border and the floor type number in a triangle, without fill: this is a different floor construction under the same covering (GOST 21.501-2018, cl. 5.5.1). On the other buttons and their sheets the section is not shown: an insulation section does not clutter the ceiling plan. - A section is selected with a click where it is visible (on its own button, and a section under the covering also on ); a selected section is edited in the properties window with the same fields as in the panel. - Floor layers under the covering (screed, waterproofing and thermal insulation) are not drawn in 3D: the finished floor is visible in 3D. The floor is shown by the section in the Schedule and check card, by the floor explication (in the window and in the album) and by the developed views under the finished floor. Wall layers are visible in 3D as well, on a cut wall. - Finishes can be applied both on the plan and in 3D (see How to apply finishes in 3D).
