How to place a row of identical items
Wherethe item window or the Selected: {n} windowthe Row blockIt is collapsed; expand it with the icon to the right of the heading.
Steps
- Select an item or several items.
- Expand the Row block.
- Set how many items the row should have, including the original, and the length of the row from the edge of the first to the edge of the last.
- Choose one of the four arrows: the direction the row goes in.
- Click Place.
Good to know
- Below the fields the gap between neighbors is shown. If the items do not fit in the set length, the button is unavailable and the minimum length is shown.
- For a single item, the arrows follow its own sides: a rotated chair is repeated along its width. For a group, the arrows follow the sides of the plan.
- A copy that lands in a wall is pushed out of it. For an item with a mount (wall-mounted, sink, built-in appliance, socket), the copy is placed only if it lands on its own support: hooks along a wall will be placed, but across it they will not. For more details see Furnishing (furnish.md, Where an item can go).
- Locked items are not included in the row or in common actions.
