How to build pipes automatically

Steps
- Place risers in the Plan or in the and rows: cold and hot water, sewer or a shared plumbing riser. In a private house, a water inlet and a sewer outlet are placed instead of a riser.
- Choose the layout in the Pipes step. Manifold: each fixture gets its own pipe from the manifold, available when a manifold is placed on the floor. Tee: fixtures are tapped into a common pipe.
- Click Build. Pipes are built on all floors that have fixtures. Clicking Build again replaces the previous automatic pipes, while hand-drawn ones stay. Redo in the step removes all water supply and drainage pipes on the floor, hand-drawn ones too, and builds them from scratch.
What is important to know
- Pipes run along walls and go around furniture on the floor: bathtub, shower tray, toilet, cabinets, kitchen. Into an adjacent room the pipe passes through the wall, not along the threshold. Vertices can be moved by hand.
- The inlet assembly builds itself: fittings within 2 m of the source are placed in the direction of water flow (valve, motorized valve, filter, meter, check valve, pressure reducer).
- Floors are linked automatically: if the fixtures on a floor have no source and there is one below, the riser extends upward or is placed next to the inlet, the outlet or the water heater. The riser position can be adjusted, and the pipes will follow it.
- If you delete a fixture, an outlet or a riser, its automatic pipes go away with it, while hand-drawn ones stay.
