How to view the roof on the plan

WhereDrawings tabthe floor under the roofthe Roof plan sheet in the drawing set

What you need to know

  • In the Drawings tab, the plan of the floor under the roof shows the eaves edge, ridges, hip ribs and valleys: as a thin dash-dot line with two dots, like everything above the cutting plane (GOST 21.501-2011, cl. 5.3.4).
  • The Roof plan sheet in the set shows a top view: each slope has its own tone, with lines for the eaves, ridges, hips and valleys, and arrows pointing down the slope with the pitch in degrees. The scale is the same as the set's plans, if it fits, otherwise Not to scale.
  • Under the slope of the main part, the ridge of the wing is not visible and is not drawn on the plan.

Limitations

  • The slope under a dormer window is not cut out.
